“We did a slum tour (Tondo Community Experience) with Ryan. It was a very impressive and humbling experience. We visited Smokey Mountain, Aroma and Happyland. We walked around and Ryan gave us a lot of information about the history of the areas, the people and the way of life in the slums. You can see Ryan is part of the community. The people love and respect him. We felt really safe and welcome. Even though the people live in harsh conditions, they are very friendly and welcoming, especially the kids! “The tour guided by Ryan provided us with very impressive insights about Tondo. He shared a lot of history, we visited numerous places and also went into the poorer districts (Tondo Community Experience). I was surprised and happy to see the positivity and happiness of people, especially children, even though they sometimes live in difficult conditions. Along the way, we met many of his students that seemed very friendly and interested and exchanging thoughts with us in English. Very nice to see how his charity commitment and support for kids seems to change their lives. I have felt safe during the whole trip.
